About GECT
The Gulzar Educational and Charitable Trust was established (in September 2008) by a family of entrepreneurs with diverse business interests in retail, automobiles, hospitality. Well-connected within the industry through prominent forums such as the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Ludhiana Management Association (LMA) and others, the promoters recognized a significant gap between industry needs and academic curricula. Driven by a shared vision to bridge this gap, they conceived the idea of establishing educational institutes on the outskirts of Ludhiana.
Their mission was to provide affordable, high-quality education to students from various backgrounds, enabling them to acquire skills required to thrive in the modern workforce. The goal was not only to make education accessible but also to foster a diverse, inclusive student community representing different regions, cultures, and states. By implementing innovative teaching methodologies and promoting harmony among students, the trust aimed to create an environment that nurtures learning, growth, and collaboration.
