The software industry expects to grow to Rs. 20,000 crores in the next five years and to Rs. 100,000 crores by 2017. Despite the remarkable growth, the Indian software industry continues to be a small fraction of the world software industry.
    Master of Information Technology is a postgraduate academic degree. The degree is typically studied for in the sciences including the social sciences.
