Microsoft’s Faculty Empowerment Program-Saksham by Microsoft India in Gulzar Group of Institutes, Ludhiana on 5th June and 6th June 2017.

Saksham is a Microsoft initiative to give momentum to the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) of MHRD with the common objective of building connectivity and knowledge network among and within institutions of higher learning in the country. Saksham is a Microsoft initiative to build connectivity and knowledge network among and within institutions of higher learning in the country. Under this initiative, Microsoft is conducting a FREE technology workshop for Gulzar Group of Institutes, Ludhiana and other selected campuses to help them to hands-on especially on Office365, cloud computing, MS Education add-on tools and deployment process.

This initiative has far-reaching influence on our ecosystem and helps both educators and students acquire 21st-century teaching and learning skills to help them leverage Microsoft productivity tools to their best potential. Microsoft has covered 118 Central/State/Private Universities training about 4800 teachers from various Universities. We have received very encouraging feedback of this program from all Universities that we touched through this intervention with a repeat request from many Universities.
