GGI is well equipped with the state of the art laboratories which not only enhances the bold practical exposure to the students but also offer them a platform to acquaint themselves with the updated and self-experimenting experiences of their respective streams as well. All departments maintain its specialized labs that are outfitted with modern equipments of industry standards and are upgraded periodically.
In First Year, students get introduced to the Basic Sciences Labs, which are the base for any new technology. It covers Engineering Physics/ Chemistry Lab, Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering Lab, FCPIT Lab, Engineering Computer Graphics Lab and to enhance their Personality, Listening and Speaking Skills it too has a Communication Skills Lab.
Second Year: As per the specific trades of B.Tech, students get practical knowledge from these specified labs which contains: In
Civil Engg : Fluid Mechanics I/ II Lab, Survey I/II Lab, Solid Mechanics Lab, Structural Analysis Lab.
Mechanical Engg : SOM Lab, MP I/II Lab, EMM Lab, TOM Lab, AT Lab.
Electronics & Communication Engg : Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Linear Control Systems.
Computer Science Engineering : Hardware I/II Lab, Software I/II Lab.
So followed by time, it has more labs in their curriculum to be worked upon to get exact practical knowledge of their trades. Third and Final Year of respective trades of B.Tech consists of the following labs:
Civil Engg : Concrete Lab, Transportation Lab, Environment Engg. Lab, Irrigation Engg. Lab.
Mechanical Engg : MD I/II Lab, AE Lab, MMM Lab, RAC Lab, IAR Lab, CAD Lab.
Electronics & Communication Engg : Digital Communication, Micro-Controller, VLSI, Microprocessors, Analog Communication Systems.
Computer Science Engineering : Software Lab VI/VII, Hardware Lab, Expert System Laboratory.
