Students at GGI are encouraged to engage themselves in various extra-curricular activities beside their academic program. Students are given opportunities to sharpen their talents by doing various activities within the college and by taking part in music, singing, painting, art & drawing competitions etc. Some of the events at GGI College include: Celebrated Teacher's day on 4th September with great fervor whereby students of CSE department presented cultural events. Robotics Show presented by electronics department on 22nd august 2010 under guidance of MrRohitMoudgil on campus where students exhibited spy moving camera and other devices made by them.

Talent Hunt contest "THRUST -2010"held at Gulzar College on 4th Feb 2010. Students participated in various activities to showcase their creativity. In Rangoli competition, Team of Rosy and Raman of engineering Stream won first prize.

"AAGHAZ- 2010" held in Department of Management to mark celebrations to the fresher's arriving at college. The students participated in various group dances, Solo singing, Quiz's etc.

"KARNIVAL-2010″ –the First Annual function held at Gulzar Group of Institutes.
