PROCEDURE
Admission to the B.Tech programme would be done on the basis of rank obtained in AIEEE – PTU, counselling conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Admission to 67% of the total seats would be made through state level centralized counselling conducted by the University. 33% management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counselling based on the merit of AIEEE rank & merit in qualifying examination.
Direct admission to Second year B.Tech. (Lateral entry)
Candidates who have passed ‘three years Engg. Diploma from an Institution recognized by the Board of Technical Education, Punjab.’, in any branch of Engineerin, are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.
Candidates who have passed ‘three years B.Sc. degree with mathematics as one of the subject from any recognized University; are also eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology.
M.B.A.—(2 Years Degree Course)
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university with minimum 50% marks or PTU-MET / CAT / MAT qualified.
B.B.A, B.C.A, B.Sc (IT).—(3 Years Degree Course)
Candidates seeking admission in BBA should meet the following eligibility criteria- A candidate who has the minimum qualification of 10+2 in any stream with 50 % marks. Admission to the programme shall be on merit basis in qualifying exam.
M.Sc (IT).—(2 Years Degree Course)
Candidates seeking admission in MSc(IT) should meet the following eligibility criteria- A candidate who has the minimum qualification graduation in any stream with 50 % marks. Admission to the programme shall be on merit basis in qualifying exam.
